Self-introduction

Hi! I’m Yeran Liu, you can call me Yolanda. Here’s a little thing about me, and nice to meet you all!
I’m from Nanning, Guangxi, a capital city of a southern province in China. It’s a lesser-known region, and not that wealthy. But I love my city, the wether ,people, vide there are so wonderful. And I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up in a happy family with parents who love me deeply, cherish me as their gift. My Chinese name, chosen by my parents, carries their wish for me to be courageous, to challenge myself fearlessly, and to shine brightly. Although I may only have achieved a third of that so far, I’m working hard on the rest!
Back in high school in China, I found myself wanting more than just books, exams, and rankings. I told my parents I wanted to explore the world, to fly independently, and unexpectedly they said OK. Which I really grateful for, they always support my ideas and back me up.
At first, everyone thought I was too spoiled by my parents to take care of myself abroad, but eventually, I proved them wrong. I take care of myself well in a foreign city, and meet a lot good friend. I enjoyed every second of my life. Melbourne is such a beautiful places, I like to sit in the riverside of the yarra river and do my homework there, and I like the sunshine of the st Kilda beach, I love the teacher here, always helpful. and supported. For me,I believe life’s journey is grand and beautiful, and I’m confident I can go further and see higher.
In everyday life, I’m a fairly outgoing person. I love all things furry—especially cats and dogs—and I’m open to new experiences. When I have some free time, I like to take my camera, wander around, and capture whatever catches my eye. In fact, you might notice that the background image on this website is of a famous, now-abandoned bridge in my hometown I took, which rich with the traces of history, aged like a fine wine.
Ok that’s a bit about me, thanks for watching to this point, hope you enjoy this. And if you have any suggestions, feedback, or would like to learn more, just click 'Contact Us' to get in touch!
